We use top-of-the-line Baldwin Hardware, available with a lock (privacy set) or without (passage set), and a choice of standard or extended backsets. Our interior wood door knob is perfectly sanded and finished with a durable oil finish made to last years. Modknob sets include everything you need for one complete door installation. Now available in a Satin Nickel or Satin Black finish.

Walnut Features

FINE HARDWOOD

We cut our walnut from the richly hued, dark chocolate heartwood — the hardy inner core. Every knob is truly a one-of-a-kind. Slight differences in color and graining are common from piece to piece.

HAND CRAFTED

Our walnut knobs are carefully milled and hand-sanded to a silky smooth finish. They’re finished with a light coat of teak oil to add a subtle sheen and keep your knobs looking great for years to come.

MODERN FINISH

Our Baldwin Hardware comes in a contemporary satin nickel (nickel plated brass). Sometimes referred to as brushed nickel, it’s similar in appearance to brushed stainless steel or brushed aluminum.

PREMIUM HARDWARE

We are proud to use premium Baldwin Hardware with every ModKnobs order. Baldwin’s Estate latch series is an industry standard, with a 28-degree rotation for easy turning and smooth operation.

SOFT-CLOSE LATCH

Baldwin’s anti-friction inserts provide quiet closing and reduce strike plate scratches. These lever-strength latches are engineered with heavy-duty springs to complement the solidity of our hardware.

MATCHING DEADBOLTS

We offer Baldwin Hardware
deadbolts that pair perfectly with all styles of ModKnobs. These single cylinder deadbolts feature a heavy gauged steel case for strength and open from the inside with a simple twist.

Knobs are 2.75” in diameter, 1” in thickness

Rosettes
Circular Satin Nickel Rosettes are 2.562” in diameter

Privacy Pin
Privacy door hardware features a small push pin locking mechanism on the interior for use on bedroom and bathroom doors where locking is needed. The exterior side features a small pin hole to unlock the door hardware from the outside.

Door Thickness
Accommodates door thickness 1-3/8″ to 2″. Up to 2-1/2″ thick door with service part kit (Part Number: 8BR0707).

Privacy and Passage Door Knob Latch for standard 2-3/8″ Backset
Latch Box also includes: Standard strike, Wood fasteners, installation template, Dust box, and 3.5″ Spindle. Optional longer 2 3/4″ latches are available upon request.

Installation
Full instructions provided. Hardware mounts flat to any surface. For Privacy, Passage, and Full Dummys a standard hole is required, Half Dummys require only a 5/8” hole 1⁄4” deep one side of the door.

Installation

You don’t have to be a contractor to install ModKnobs. Every Privacy, Passage, Full Dummy, or Half Dummy order comes with a set of detailed installation instructions and most people can install their new ModKnobs in only 5-10 minutes.
