Our Matte series is crafted from Paperstone® — a handsome material with a refined, architectural style. Available with a lock (privacy set) or without (passage set). Includes two matching knobs, complete hardware and installation instructions.

Crafted from PaperStone® — a handsome, durable material often used to create tables and countertops. It’s made from 100% post-consumer recycled cardboard and is certified to FSC® standards by the Rainforest Alliance.
Our hardware comes in a contemporary satin nickel finish (nickel plated brass). Sometimes referred to as brushed nickel, it’s similar in appearance to brushed stainless steel or brushed aluminum.
We are proud to use premium Baldwin hardware with every ModKnobs order. Baldwin’s Estate latch series is an industry standard, with a 28-degree rotation for easy turning and smooth operation.
Baldwin’s anti-friction inserts provide quiet closing and reduce strike plate scratches. These lever-strength latches are engineered with heavy-duty springs to complement the solidity of Baldwin hardware.
We offer Baldwin deadbolts that pair perfectly with all styles of ModKnobs. These single cylinder deadbolts feature a heavy gauged steel case for strength and open from the inside with a simple twist.
You don’t have to be a contractor to install ModKnobs. Every Privacy, Passage, Full Dummy, or Half Dummy order comes with a set of detailed installation instructions and most people can install their new ModKnobs in only 5-10 minutes.
